About Marina

Marina is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who has over a decade of experience working with persons suffering from mental health disorders. Her training and experience qualify her to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for patients across the lifespan. She is firmly grounded in providing holistic care with a solid understanding that complete healing must include the mind, body, and spirit connection. Her greatest passion is to utilize experience, knowledge, and evidence-based treatments to help individuals become free from mental anguish and psychological suffering.  

Marina utilizes a client-centered approach to develop treatment plans specific to each  individual’s needs. Her holistic interventions incorporate a combination of medication, therapy,  spiritual support, and lifestyle changes to reach the client’s desired goals.  

Marina has experience working in a variety of settings including emergency departments, psychiatric hospitals, and alcohol & drug detox and rehabilitation centers. She has also worked directly with hundreds of sexual assault victims, persons with addictions, and trauma exposed individuals.  

She has consistently volunteered her time in community outreach volunteer programs to  offer support and solutions to persons with addictions, incarcerated, and the homeless  population. This volunteer work has been ongoing for over a decade and continues here in  Tennessee for the past two years.  

Marina’s strengths include, but are not limited to: Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders,  Depression, Spiritual Distress, Substance Use Disorders and Addictions, Trauma and PTSD,  Dual Diagnosis, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and eating disorders.
